Aaaand ARA is broken in Logic Pro 11. There's a bug that doesn't allow to open LP11 in Rosetta mode . Apple announced they were working on a fix 10 days ago, and still no news 😅

Hi Roman, great video! I have a problem this doesn't have anything to do with the topic in this video but about recording vocals in logic. Every time I start a recording by pressing R and end a recording pressing R my 2 track audio instrumental sounds cut out for about a second or two and then continues. I can't fix the problem I have the record track record enabled and it still does this.

Thank you for your reply! I really appreciate it. Sadly this has been going on for two years. Ugh. No help from cust. service other than a workaround that lasted all of two weeks. I've followed your video (kudos) & numerous others with no success. I'm not one to just give up (however it's out of warranty) & I even tried to send the unit to Akai & they sent it back. It went out with the recycling ♻️ this morning. I now have a Novation 37 key unit. If I ever go back to Akai do you have a recommendation!? Thanks again for your help! 🙏🏾🎛🎹

I needed to correct pitches for a Bass Player in the wrong Key. I fixed the pitches...but now the timing is all off! Is there a way to fix that?

I moved to Studio One mainly because of its affinity with Melodyne. It’s great software but I’ve been driven away by their crazy management and pay policy. - You explained the process beautifully. I ran into the same problem. Bounced out a final mix. Started a new session for mastering and that would play normal, then KaBOOOOOM. Distortion. Switching the multithreating to Playback only solved the problem. Except now I have to switch the multithreading every time I go for a mastering session. Not the end of the world by any means. Thanks for the confirmation video.

So by default is the bleed turned on for every piece of drums?

Really great video. Very informative and has demystified a lot of the same problems I've been puzzling over. My only comment would be that I find the play style and grid editor in Superior Drummer 3 much better than any DAW midi editor I've ever used. It has some great features. Keep on delivering this sort of content it's much appreciated.

Great video. I use Logic also. In 2013 they came out with The Drummer... which I have used daily for my demos & songwriting for 10 years now. So easy the way you can snip the regions... and an adjustable fill is inserted there. I want to get SD, but when will any drum company match what Logic did 10 years ago? That's more important to me than most of the other deep editing. Dropping in fill regions always seems fake to me. I don't any other company doing this yet.

I had this plug in for year. Today, I decided to look up how to use the grooves. It's pretty much trial and error. But when you dragged the MIDI to the piano roll, I was like, "OH SNAP!" I'm going to do a video and talk about what I figured out. See you in a week!
